This book is a must have for lrfs and practicing engineers. It gives you the ability to design wood framed structures without relying on structurs prescriptive elements of the IBC so your own design creativitiy scope is greatly enhanced and your ability to support other’s designs increases.

In order to make this book truly useful, it needs to incorporate examples that are comparable to real world problems, like how to design an eccentrically loaded bolt group, something very common in heavy truss connections. I could go on about why I like this book but I’ll cut straight to the chase.
